On the evening of Friday, January 11th, the music in friendship will be organized by the municipality of Esino Lario, in which the young talents of the Central Music School of Moscow will perform.

On Wednesday, January 2, the Library of Abbadia organizes for the day of peace, reading passages taken from “The Great Sun of Hiroscima” by Karl Bruckner, to learn about the story of Sadako Sasaki and the legend of the thousand paper cranes .
The reading is suitable for adults and children from 8 years. At the end, origami workshop for the construction of the crane. All the cranes made will be sent to the city of Hiroshima, where they will be exhibited at the Children’s Peace Monument. Anyone who wants to join this message of peace will be able to deliver his crane to the library in the following week.

Saturday, Jenuary the 6th the Pro Loco and the Municipality of Varenna organize an hunting of the Epiphany reserved to children till 10 years old.
Children have to search for Epiphanies scattered in the city and pick up the sweets: after finding 8 of different colours and flavour they have to return at the Portico and deliver them to the Epiphany. The first 20 will recive the traditional socks with a lot of surprises.
