This year Valsassina Country Festival will be from Thursday , 11th July to Sunday , 14th July.
A Country even that turns Valsassina into the capital of Country style, even if only for 4 days.
There will be a lot of appointments such as horse races and country line dancing.
About ten horses will alternate on the field competition, giving demonstration of the various disciplines and equestrian sporting specialty with covering western. Many riders will be challenged in competitive competitions of various level that remember the cowboys that assembled the herds in the great grasslands of the Far West.

At the Valsassina Country Festival it will be possible to taste typical products of the area thanks to the presence of the Marta Gianola Laboratorio Artigianale Catering.
You will also find a stand of sports items from the Sorgente Sport di Barzio and one of the Tourist Mines of Lake Como. Among the organizers of the festival is the Azienda Agricola Valsecchi Celeste.

The Centro Sportivo Culturale of Cortenova, sponsored by the Municipality of Introbio, promotes and organizes for Sunday the 30th of June 2019 a sporting event running in the mountains and MTB, from Introbio to Valbiandino, offering a challenging but not dangerous route, ideal for those who want to approach these fascinating disciplines.
Participation is allowed to male and female athletes who are 16 years old in possession of the CERTIFICATO MEDICO AGONISTICO.
On Saturday evening there will be a technical briefing at The Brew House.
Sunday 30 the meeting is scheduled at 7.30 at the Palabaster in Introbio and the start line is in the Piazza Cavour Introbio (point for the race bibs withdrawal on Saturday afternoon).

On September 15, 2019, the seventh edition of ZacUp Skyrace del Grignone will start from Pasturo, which this year will be the stage of the Migu Run Skyrunner World Series, an international circuit that will bring Pasturo and Valsassina back to the center of the international Skyrunning scene..
The route of the ZacUP winds along highly spectacular paths. with technical and equipped passages such as the climb to Passo Zapel along the Val Cugnoletta passing through the Stanga pass. The route touches 4 shelters passing through the summit of Grignone and then back to Pasturo with a very technical and nervous finish. All for a total positive height difference of about 2650 mt..
During the race the bar service will be active accompanied by music and news from the race course. For reasons of force majeure the program may undergo changes which will be communicated via the site of the event.
