Description

La Cà di Radio Vecc , that means the old radios house , is a Gramophones and vintage Radios Museum opened in 2014 in a building situated in the historical center of Bellano. The museum hosts a wider collection that the owners Paolo and Rina Panatti have conserved during 50 years.

The exhibition is divided in six sections arranged in chronological order , from Guglielmo Marconi until 1960. In addition to unique pieces like the first Marconi radio of 1923 or exclusive gramophones , you can admire specimens of home-made radios. The exhibit ends with a section that is entirely dedicated to vintage televisions , since the first. Many of these are functioning instruments , so that the visitor could enjoy mood music during his visit.

The museum is situated in Via Privata Achille 7, reachable walking from the waterfrom or from the station.

Opening hours:

  • In June , July and August the museum is opened from Tuesday to Sunday from 09.00 to 12.00 and from 14.30 to 18.00.
  • In April and May the museum is opened only Saturday and Sunday from 10.00 to 12.00 and from 14.30 to 17.00 ( to other days it is necessary to book ).
